A rainy fall day didn't dampen the spirits of the entrants and visitors to the sixth annual Wheels of Law Enforcement police vehicle show on Saturday, September 27, 2008, in conjunction with Springettsbury Township's Saturday in the Park at Springettsbury Township Park, 1501 Mount Zion Road.
Active and retired law enforcement vehicles filled the show area off of Pleasant Valley Road, showcasing the evolution of motorized transportation for law enforcement officers. Various styles of vehicles were on display, from unmarked cars to ornately decorated special purpose vehicles. A total of 22 trophies, sponsored by Verizon Wireless, were awarded at the conclusion of the event. Our thanks to all the participants, sponsors, vendors and visitors for helping to make this another successful event for the Police Heritage Museum. |
